Hey Path Hunters!

I have an amazing guest here today Jasper Ribbers from Get Paid For Your Pad where we chat about him making $60,000 a year through Airbnb-ing his home and traveling the world full time.

I really wanted to chat with Jasper and capture conversations on different types of ways on how to generate income. This particular one is relatable because I know most people who with homes wants to travel but is tied down with a mortgage.

This is where I chat with Jasper how using Airbnb as a way to create an income even if you have a mortgage to travel or be location independent.

What were you doing before you started traveling?

Jasper working as a trader in the financial industry for 6 years and realized that this is not what he wanted to do with this life, and wanted to aspire for more. During this time he decided to rent out his apartment in Amsterdam and quickly realized that he could travel while doing this.

How much can you make?

I really wanted to get a sense of how much you can make from renting out your home to Airbnb typically and for each person, the situation can vary but Jasper mentioned that roughly you can make about $2000-4000 based on if you're renting out your home for $1500 a month but generally you can 2x - 4x your current income based on how much you're currently renting out.

 How to get started

Jasper gets into some details on how to get started if you really wanted to try it out. He mentioned that the idea of someone from the internet going to be living in your home can be very daunting and some people may not feel comfortable with that.

What Jasper suggests is to start small, by renting out your home for a weekend or a week to try it out and see how you would feel about it first before you do anything major.

Jasper did also mention that he has sold his home in Amsterdam and is currently looking to purchase more properties to rent out in different places around the world.

And this could be another idea for someone who wants to create more income in the future by purchasing different properties as well too because of the low cost for the actual properties itself.

Thank you so much, Jasper, for jumping onto the podcast here with me it was a pleasure chatting with you and until next time!

Hey Path Hunters!

A couple of months ago in April, My friends Calvin Simpson & Filip Sierpinski attended an event in Toronto hosted by our mentor/friend Jay Wong from the Inner Change Maker Podcast. So we thought it be fun to stay together under one roof at an Airbnb in Toronto and record a 3-way podcast together. So this is the recording for  the Path Hunters podcast .

Calvin, Filip and I are all from the same mastermind group and for most of 2016, I developed a great relationship with these 2 amazing rock stars, as they too are podcasters always going through similar journeys and paths.

We spoke about many stuff in this recording, what each of us talk about in our own podcasts.

Filip is the host of Your Next Chapter Podcast

Calvin is the host of Life Through The Eyes of a Smile Podcast

Both amazing podcasts to check out.

Why We All Took a Shot at Our Dreams!

We all chatted about why we all took a shot at our dreams and our reason for doing it.

My reason (Paul) - was that I didn't want to waste 40 years of my life stuck in a cubical, and images of me in my final moments at 80 years wondering why I didn't take the leap of faith at my dreams.

Filip's reason was regret, the feeling of regret and not taking a shot at his dreams far exceeded what he was currently doing at the time. So he didn't want to regret and wonder why he didn't take the shot.

The Event We Went To & Tip On Networking

The speaker at the event was Jayson Gaignard speak on ‘How to Build a 7 Figure Business Through Networking’. but we touched base on tips on how to network.

Networking events are typically a pretty fast pace environment and we all agreed that when going to these kinds of events, it's always good to make quick small talks and let the person you're speaking to know that this is a fast pace environment, let's catch up and set a date afterward because I'd like to meet everyone else.

People would understand & agree, and this leaves the opportunity to trade contact information and continue to efficiently meet everyone else at the event.

Celebrating All The Positive People In Your Life

We chatted about dealing with negative people in life your life. How we all have the same situation where we have people in our lives that are going through something, and as a friend naturally you want to help them but aren't able to because those people never asked for our help in the first place.

Calvin spoke about how he deals with negative people by focusing his energy on celebrating all the positive people in his life.

This was a fun experience to get 3 podcasters staying together under one roof and collaborating on a podcast episode. I particularly enjoyed chatting with these two and I hope you enjoyed this episode.

Thank you so much to Calvin & Filip for allowing me to share this episode.

Hey Path Hunters!

My friend Vincent Nguyen came onto the Path Hunters podcast . He is the CEO of Growth Ninja, a Facebook ad service company that offers its service to help other companies with their Facebook ads

The Path Hunters podcast is all about leading a passionate lifestyle, following your bliss and hearing how others are doing it and Steven is doing exactly that!

He shared his journey on how he started and how he started his journey by working for a company called empire flippers and gaining the experience from them. Then, later on, going off on his own and then offering his services to empire flippers.

How to reignite your passion

Vincent mentioned where his company though is great but now he feels as if the passion for it has went away and vincent went into details about his latest passion project. Another business that he purchased and is super passionate about diving into that.

He shares his insights on why he lost his passion and how he reignites it back into his life.

What kind of traveling he did and his thoughts on having expectations when he traveling to different destinations and suggests that going into without an expectation is so much better.

I asked Vincent as well about what it is was like being an Asian entrepreneur and coming from a traditional Vietnamese family. His thoughts and experience on dealing with his parents, and family.

What is important to Vincent now is developing strong meaningful connections, and building it while he's settling back down at home in Arizona and mentions that when he was traveling, he would develop amazing friendships and connections but later on going their separate ways when they're traveling. So that's what drove Vincent to come back home to be closer to his family and friends.

Vincent, it was so fun chatting with you my friend, thank you so much for coming onto the podcast,
