Hello Path Hunters!

Today's episode is about building MOMENTUM!

Your day starts the moment you open up your eyes the moment you wake up, what you do next will determine your day, and how it flows throughout the day.

A HUGE one I always practice is gratitude, Using the Five Minute Journal or Heath Armstrong's The Sweet Ass Journal

One thing I like about these journals is that you're able to write out your priorities for the day and tackle them.

It helps me a lot and gets my mind off from thinking about what I have to do throughout the day.

Stack the cards in your favor, working with what you have.

Hey Path Hunters!

A quick episode about 5 life lessons that I learned personally myself after a huge transition of leaving my corporate 9-5 job in November 2016, then taking off to Asia to be surrounded by Digital nomads.

I hope you enjoy this episode!

Hey Path Hunters!

This is a short episode for the week, I wanted to dive deep down on actively hunting for knowledge, and becoming a path hunter!

Why it's so important for you to choose your own path and build that life that you've always wanted.

As I grow as a podcaster I continue to improve, change, learn, grow and continue to think how I can continue to serve the world.

It's always something that's on my mind, and with this I always want to inspire others to walk down that as well.

Hey Path Hunters!

Today's guest has interviewed amazing people such as Lisa Nichols, Bob Proctor and Marie Forleo and has a mission to inspire everyone he comes into contact with. My guest today is Sean Croxton Host of the Quote of the Day Show. I knew I had to bring Sean onto the the Path Hunters podcast to chat with him and hear about his journey, and what he does.

That Painful Feeling

Sean shared an amazing story of his early life when he was using Youtube as a way to connect with people as he was learning how to be a better personal trainer. Later on, he realized that he trading time for dollars and that he knew he was capable of so much more. It got to the point it was so painful for him, that he had to do something about it, he had to take action. This is that uncomfortable feeling that everyone has when they aren't living up to their true potential.

Our Greatest Power

The most valuable thing mentioned was that everyone has the ability to create and obtain the life that they've always wanted to have but it all boils down to accepting responsibility for your own life and making the choice on changing that.

Also, why people go to conferences, read books, and in a few days time, they revert back to their old ways is because they haven't accepted responsibility and haven't made the choice to internalize it, take action, and become the person that they've always wanted to become.

 Life Is Not Over

If you're working a job that you completely dread, and not feeling fulfilled, know that life is not over and that you have the abilities to create a life that you've always wanted, and it all starts by stepping into that greatness that's inside all of us.

Hey Path Hunters!

On the Path Hunters podcast I spoke about why you should start a side hustle, how you can find the information for free and if you really want it bad enough you're going to find a way to make it.

Udemy.com is a great place for courses at a cheap price as well, and by learning from some of these courses you add to your skillset, you then are able to build a side hustle whether it's freelancing or something entirely different.

If you aren't able to afford the courses, making trips to the public library to read books, kindle also offers free ebooks as well too and I get into that on how you can do it.

I know that deep down many people want to change their lives and be in more fulfillment but if you want it bad enough you're going to go after it.

Hey Path Hunters!

My good friend Calvin Simpson come onto the Path Hunters podcast, after the recent popular episode with 3 Podcasters staying together at an Airbnb. So I had to bring Calvin on.

Calvin had a huge helping on launching my new eBook "Gun To Your Head" to Amazon. He is the host of the Life Through The Eyes Of A Smile Podcast and his company Happful where he helps authors write, market and launch their fiction books.

Calvin is the type of guy that radiates amazing energy into the world and one of the first questions I asked Calvin was "Can this be learned or were you born with this?"

He explains that early in his life he was would turn red, and get all flushed whenever speaking to someone new or meeting someone, so he refers to a book called "the game" by Neil Straus  that taught him how to interact with people. The book itself is a pickup artist book but the concepts could be applied to all kinds of human interactions.

Baseball Bat Incident

After being assaulted with a baseball bat Calvin suffered severe jaw damage and was in and out of the hospital quite frequently meeting with surgeons to reconstruct his jaw. During this period in Calvin's life, he took the time to reflect on what drove people to bring in positive energy and what drove people to bring negative energy to a room.

He mentioned that kids at the hospital didn't subscribe to that negative energy and majority of the time the kids were smiling.

That Life Changing Email

While listening to a podcast episode with Tim Ferriss and Derek Sivers owner of CD Baby back in the early 2000s Derek mentions that if you have any questions email him and offered this on the podcast. So that little voice within Calvin said to email him, so he does exactly that! Derek emailed him back answering his question and that was question was whether or not that he should leave his corporate job to pursue a new business venture.

Derek's answer was to go and read Cal Newport's book "So good they can't ignore you"

Calvin went and did exactly that and the biggest takeaway was doing two things at once. If it means that much to you, then you're willing to make the time to do it, and once it can sustain your lifestyle then you can transition completely over.

Overall it was an amazing chat with my good friend Calvin.

Thank you so much, my friend, for coming onto the podcast. It was mega fun connecting with you.

Hey Path Hunters!

This episode I'd like to chat about dealing with bad days that you may be having.

Catching up on this week's episode with Anil Gupta where we chatted about being more happier, being more vulnerable, and he really dug deep into what was the root cause of what I was going through.

But this time around for episode 85 I wanted to share some tips on how to get through a rough day, as some people on my Instagram wanted to know how I'm keeping up this momentum, not burning out and these are things I touch on.

I as many people do have bad days as well, but what I do personally is choose and make the conscious decision do not let this drag on throughout the day.

Hear this episode and find out some of those tips.

Thank you so much for listening

With love

Paul

Hey Path Hunters!

Talk about being raw and real with you all!

This time around I have an amazing entrepreneur for the Path Hunters Podcast that works with people on finding clarity within themselves, focusing on forgiveness and settling with the things that have been stopping you from being truly happy.

Go ahead and dig!

I used myself for this episode and allowed Anil to pick at what has been stopping me from getting out of my own "way" in a sense. We dove into my relationship with my dad and chatted about different aspects and what I should do to grow this relationship with my dad in order to grow as a person.

How can others achieve more happiness?

Anil explained how anyone can achieve a life of fulfillment and he calls it the "3 Gs" they are

  • Give - give away your time, money, energy, love without wanting anything else in return.
  • Grateful - Being grateful for what you have, and not focus on what you don't have.
  • Grow- Grow yourself emotionally, physically, spiritually & mentally.

 Why awareness is key

Anil mentions that everyone should develop an awareness because only by growing your awareness you're able to find clarity within yourself and then work on whatever it is that may be stopping you from being happy.

It was really fun chatting with Anil for the path hunters podcast find some amazing info on his and grab a copy of his book on the show notes page at Pathhunters.com
